Become a Founding Member

A membership is a pledge to a Canadian map that carries your community. $21 a year, or $210 once for a lifetime. All taxes included, nothing else to pay.

Founding Member

$21 a year

The green badge. Your pin, your page and your name, renewed a year at a time.

Lifetime Member

$210 once

The gold badge. Everything a Founding Membership includes, held for up to 21 years, one pledge, done.

Givings add up. Every pledge is recorded to the email it came from. The moment your total givings reach $210, in any combination, your membership becomes Lifetime and your badge turns gold on its own. Nobody has to ask.

What your membership includes

Your pin

Your pin on the map, with a storefront and a lobby page of your own.

Your name

name@map.ca, held for your lifetime. Claim it once and it is yours.

Your assistant

A MapAi assistant on your pin, run in Canada.

Your certificate

A Certificate of Founding Membership and a receipt. All taxes are included in the price.

What is not included. No ads on the map, and none on your page. No traffic promise. The pin and the page are yours to use; what people do with them is up to you. Memberships are not refunded once the transfer lands.

How joining works

  1. Become a Member. Enter your email (one linked to a Canadian bank account) and confirm the 4 digit code that arrives.
  2. Claim Your Name. Enter your full name, choose your @name, and decide what the map shares. You can keep your information private and appear as @newmember.
  3. Make Your Pledge. Pick Founding ($21) or Lifetime ($210) and send the e-transfer from your own bank to give@map.ca. map.ca never holds card numbers.
  4. Get Your Certificate. Nothing to click. Your certificate flips from Draft to Verified on its own once the transfer lands.
Did a Map Ambassador help you? There is a row for that on Make Your Pledge. Type their @name and map.ca thanks them with an e-transfer. It costs you nothing and it keeps the map growing person to person.
